Alright, Chamblee Cluster elementary schools. It's time to run with the Bulldogs. Show-up big and bring home bragging rights and the coveted Bulldog Dash trophy for your school to display with pride until next year's race. Will the Kittredge Cougars repeat this year, or will we have a new champion?!?!
A goal of the Chamblee Bulldog Dash is to bring together the students, faculty/staff, and families from across the amazing schools in our cluster. But there's nothing wrong with a little friendly competition among friends, right?!
Be sure to identify which school you'll be representing on race day when you register, so your school gets credit!
CONGRATULATIONS TO KITTREDGE MAGNET SCHOOL FOR RETAINING THE TITLE! THE COUGARS HAD 108 PARTICIPANTS REGISTER FOR THE RACE! THANK YOU KMS FAMILY FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

We're excited to partner with Eco Sneakers, an Atlanta-based nonprofit that provides effective and environmentally friendly opportunities for both local and global impact. To-date, Eco Sneakers has repurposed and redistributed over 450,000 pairs of gently used shoes for those in need. Recycle your shoes to someone who doesn't have any!
How do I participate? Just bring your old shoes to Packet Pickup at Big Peach to drop ihe Eco Sneakers donation bins they have in store. It's as easy as that!
We will be hosting packet pickup at Big Peach Ride + Run Brookhaven on Thursday, February 9th from 3-7pm. Be sure to shop while you're in store - 5% of sales during packet pick-up hours will be donated to the Bulldog Dash!
Enjoy dinner at THERE Gastropub in the Town Brookhaven (same shopping center as Big Peach) for the Spirit Night component of our packet pickup day. Be sure to mention the Bulldog Dash so that we earn 10% back on your order!
Please reach us at cmseforg@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The Chamblee Bulldog Dash is a traditional, timed 5K run/walk race hosted by the Chamblee Middle School Education Foundation and the Chamblee High School Blue & Gold Foundation, with proceeds benefiting the two school foundations and their respective missions to support the students, staff, and communities of Chamblee Middle School and Chamblee High School.
The 2025 Chamblee Bulldog Dash will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025. The race begins at 8am.
It's easy! Just visit our registration page HERE. Online registration closes on Tuesday, February 25th at midnight; however, if you miss the deadline, we will be offering in-person registration at packet pickup as well as on race day. That said... we greatly appreciate everyone signing-up online in advance if at all possible, so that we can plan accordingly for your participation.
We will be hosting packet pick-up at Big Peach Ride + Run Brookhaven (located in the Town Brookhaven Shopping Center) on Thursday, February 27th from 3-7pm. If you are unable to make it to packet pickup at Big Peach, we will have race day packet pickup beginning at 7am on Saturday, March 1st.
The course is 3.1 miles, or 5 kilometers. The course is USATF certified (GA23012WC). The course starts and finishes at Chamblee Middle School, running through the neighborhood and making a loop around Chamblee High School. We're in Atlanta, so... there's a few hills on the course - but nothing you can't conquer!
Course Turn-by-Turn:
The race will be timed and results will be based upon gun time. This means that everyone's timing starts when the race begins, regardless of when you actually run across the start line. TIP: If you are looking to snag an overall or age group podium spot, be sure to place yourself appropriately at the start line.
Participants will park in the Chamblee High School parking lot and cross through North DeKalb Stadium to access the race start/finish area at Chamblee Middle School. Please note that only volunteers will be permitted to park at the middle school.
Yes! Stroller participants will start shortly after all of the runners and walkers have set off.
We will have water available at the start and finish area; however, there will not be water/hydration stations on the race course itself. All participants running or walking the race will be required to supplement their own hydration, if/as needed.
We've got an incredible array of awards and prizes available to our overall, masters, and age group male and female finishers. Prizes include Bulldog Bobblehead trophies, Wahoo Fitness TICKR Fit Heart Rate Monitors, Tifosi sunglasses, winner medals, and gift cards. We'll also have some prizes/gift cards to raffle off, so be sure to stick around after you finish the race! finally, we'll be awarding a trophy to the Chamblee Cluster elementary school with the highest race participation! NOTE: There will be no "double-dipping" with prizes - if you win an Overall or Masters prize for a top 3 finish, you will not be eligible to receive a prize for your age group.
Each race bib will feature a QR code to access live race results. Results will be posted online HERE.
Race participants will be able to obtain their race day photos following the race - details will be sent to participants by email.
There are no restrooms available along the course, but the CMS restrooms will be available for use at the start and finish area.
As all money from registration fees goes directly to the school foundations, we are unable to issue refunds for any reason. We greatly appreciate your donation to the schools.

The race will be held rain or shine. If severe weather forces a deviation from this plan, race participants will be notified accordingly via email and/or text message.
Dogs are allowed but owners must bring the necessary supplies to keep the race route and community clean. Dogs must be on a leash and under control at all times, and runners with dogs must start near the back of the crowd in order to avoid interference with competitive runners. The race director reserves the right to change this policy at any time.
